Helium Balloon

Quickly deflating
The air escapes the balloon
Letting it go limp

Flat on the carpet
A pitiful thing to see
Sad little balloon

But the air still flies
Though the balloon has fallen
Life still goes onward

Once just helium
And crammed tightly together
Can now spread outwards

Joining with others
Helium meets Oxygen,
Nitrogen, Carbon

Air mingles with air
And expands into the sky
And the universe

The balloon is lost
But the helium is saved
Unshackled and free
