Why don’t more people like poems?

Like,

Sure,

Maybe you do.

Maybe you don’t.

But I do,

And I just feel

We all think in poems

Not quite novels

Right?

There’s no rules in your head

Right

But why are poems too confusing to

Like?

Why do you greet me

When we meet. And why do I

Feel sad if you don’t

Water flows through me

And you, and them, and this Earth

Like it belongs here

Rules aren’t meant to be

broken. But are we really

meant to follow rules?

A noisy dinner

Surrounded by these strangers

And their families
