Stretched out before you
Expanse of beauty, nature
But it’s not your phone

Stretched out before you
Expanse of beauty, nature
But it’s not your phone
Sparkling, winking stars
Up there in their cold, cold sky
Is there room for me?
Come and walk along
The beaches of the abyss
Lonely together
You are so cruel.
And had I known that before…
I’d have changed nothing.
My empty inside
Might feel a little something
Like another shot
A message not sent
Sitting in a drafts folder
Could have changed something
Drown it, drown it out
Another round for the bar
Let the night go on
I was always told
All good things to those who wait
But I have my doubts
Maybe we would’ve worked
I was slow, you impatient
And now you have him
How the clouds roll in
Foreboding, mysterious
I adore her eyes
